Annie D. McNeill

Annie Dial McNeill, 79, of 1694 Balfour Road, died Saturday, May 12, 2012.
Survivors are: children, Charles Dial, Nelson, Mike, Anthony Dial, Carolyn Locklear, Jacqueline Sanderson, Marie Lowery; sister, Virginia Locklear; 28 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held Thursday, May 17 at 3:30 p.m. in Mount Elim Baptist Church. Burial will be in church cemetery.

Thomas E. Brooks

Thomas Evin Brooks, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Raeford, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 in the Dallas Texas VA Hospital at the age of 73.
He was born in Guilford County February 1, 1939 to the late Edgar Ray Brooks and Betty Sue Brooks Stanley.
He is survived by one daughter, Brenda S. Brooks Arriaga of Whitney, Texas; four grandchildren, Artamio Arriaga, Whitney, Texas; Amanda Arriaga of Granview, Texas; Nia Arriaga, of Grandview, Texas; Kayla Arriaga of Victoria, Texas; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Bobby Brooks and his wife Jeanette of Salisbury; and a sister, Linda Brooks Martin and husband, Jimmy of Lumberton.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2012 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Ave, Raeford, NC 28376.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2012 in the Raeford Cemetery with the Rev. David Hollaway officiating.

Tyler E. Schulte

Tyler Easton "Turtle" Schulte of 236 Plaza Drive, Fayetteville, died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the age of 18 months.
He was born in Cumberland County on October 16, 2010.
Survivors include his parents, Rob W. and Dawn T. Schulte of Fayetteville; a brother, Branden Schulte of Fayetteville; three sisters, Tina Hanson, Kelly Schulte, and Ashley Schulte, all of Fayetteville; his maternal grandmother, Diana Cole of Garner; paternal grandparents, Bob and Michelle Schulte of Fayetteville; his maternal great-grandmother, Theresa Horuszak of Edison, New Jersey; his paternal great-grandmother, Kay Bequette of Olatha, Kansas; his paternal great-grandmother, Barbara Greenwood of Bristol, New Hampshire; two aunts, Candice Hodge of Garner and Melissa Leahigh and husband Richard of Ray City, Georgia; and two uncles, Christopher Hodge of Garner and Corey Shott of Rowland.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, NC 28376 with the Rev. James Wilhide officiating.

Marie L. Harrison

Marie Lovette Harrison went home to be with the Lord Saturday May 12, 2012 in Autumn Care of Raeford at the age of 88.
She was born in Alderson, West Virginia on December 23, 1923 to Charles Alex and Mattie Bell Flack Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edker Lee Lovette and John Harrison, two brothers, Roscoe and Earl Thomas and a special "sister", June Honaker. She retired from Burlington Industries.
She is survived by two sons, Colin Lovette and his wife Bobbie of Raeford, Charles Lovette and his wife Frances of Iverness, Florida; two daughters, Linda Pittman and her husband Barry of Lumber Bridge, Paula Zaring and her husband Pat of Raeford; 10 grandchildren, Michael Lee Lovette and his wife Denise of Slidell, Louisiana, Stephen Thomas Lovette and his wife Jessie of Charleston, South Carolina, Darren K. Pitman and his wife Tracey of Fayetteville, Donna P. Jackson and her husband Greg of Raeford, Robert Christopher Lovette of Raeford, Charles Rueben Lovette Jr. and his wife Isis of Wright Patterson AirForce Base, Ohio, Joseph Edker Lovette and his wife Sara of Sandiego, California, Jennifer Laura Chandler and her husband Rob of Naples, Italy, Julie Lovette Saunders and her husband Drake of Raeford, and Priscilla Marie Gallagher and her husband Josheph of Kadena AirForce Base, Okinawa, Japan; 23 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, NC 28376.
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Raeford Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Williams officiating.
