Clarence Page

Clarence Page, 95, of Lumber Bridge, died Sunday, July 22, 2012.
Survivors are his sons, Clarence and John; daughters, Dazarene, Helen and Carol; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Sat. July 28 at 1 p.m. in Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in Raeford. Burial will be in Page family cemetery.
 

Eleanor D. Small


Eleanor Donovan Small, 83, of Raeford, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012.
Survivors are her sons, George and Thomas; daughters, Karen Good, Kathryn Offenhauser and Regina Wahl; and nine grandchildren.
The funeral Mass will be held Sat. July 28 at 11 a.m. in Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hope Mills. Inurnment will be at a later date in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be Fri. July 27 from 6-8 p.m. in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home in Fayetteville.

Walter Everett


Walter J. Everett, 60, of Raeford, died Saturday, July 21, 2012.
Survivors are his sons, Terry Manior and Dewayne; a daughter, Ebony George; siblings, Lucille, Paul, David and Lorenzo; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Fri. July 27 at 11 a.m. in St. Andrews Christian Holiness Church of God. Burial will be in McLauchlin Chapel Church cemetery.

Nelson L. Royal

Nelson Lee Royal of 5141 Arabia Road died on July 25, 2012 at the age of 57.
He was born in Sampson County of May 24, 1955 to Wilton Lee Royal and Ona Mae Daniels Royal. He was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church and was a member and past master of the Masonic Lodge #308 in Red Springs. He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Liz) D. Royal of the home; a step-son, Matthew Clark of Lumber Bridge; his mother, Ona Mae Royal Edwards and her husband, Matthew of Hope Mills; brothers, Ray Royal and his wife, Wanda of Newton Grove, Wayne Royal and his wife Katryna of Greensboro, and Stanford Royal of Hope Mills; sisters, Glenny Royal of Hope Mills, Tammy Fields and her husband, Jeff of Lumber Bridge; several nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 220 East 4th Ave, Red Springs, NC 28377.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel, 220 East 4th Ave, Red Springs, NC 28377.

Ethel W. Propst

Ethel Williams Propst of 2306 Pittman Grove Church Road went home to be with the lord Tuesday, July 24, 2012 in Autum Care of Fayetteville at the age of 95.
She was born on July 15, 1917 in Florida to the late Andrew Alexander Williams and Leonia Jane Bain Williams. She is preceeded in death by her husband, David P. Propst and her grandson, Joey Owens. She was a member of Pittman Grove Baptist Church where she served as Deacon, Choir Member, Sunday School Teacher, Rocking Star Senior Citizens, and the church's bowling team.
She is survived by her sons, William Propst and his wife Mary Lou of Wilson, Joe A. Propst and his wife Judy of Decatur, Alabama, Earl L. Propst and his with Katherine of Decherd, Tennessee, Randy M. Propst and his wife, Rose of De Soto, Missouri; a daughter, Annie P. McQuage and her husband, Jimmy of Raeford; two brothers, Alfred Williams of Eastover, and Miles Williams and his wife, Lurey of Spring Lake; two sisters, Lenior Morris and Sally Darden both of Eastover; 11 grandchildren, Julia D'Albini, John Propst, Kimberly Propst, Jeff Propst and his wife, Stacy, Leigh Marie Propst, David Propst, Christopher Propst, Eric Propst, Matthew Propst and his wife Sarah, Maranda McQuage, Patrick McQuage; and four great-grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Propst, Tybee Propst, Breanna Propst, Allyson Propst.
Visitation will be at the home of Annie P. McQuage, 2306 Pittman Grove Church Road, Raeford, NC 28376
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Highland Biblical Gardens, 601 Scott Currie Road, Raeford, NC 28376 with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Pittman Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 4921 Pittman Grove Church Road, Raeford, NC 28376.

Anthony W. White

Anthony Wayne White, 54, of Aberdeen, died Sunday July 22, 2012 at his home.
Born July 4, 1958 in Moore County he was a son of the late Robert Lawrence White.
He was a warehouse manager for Gulistan Carpet and he loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Richardson White of Aberdeen; one daughter, Brittany Daniel White of Aberdeen; one son, Tony Ray Gilbert and wife Autumn Leigh of Parkton; his mother, Clemateen (Tina) Hardin Britt and step-father, Robert of Raeford; his step-mother, Nancy White of Texas; two sisters, Teresa Dean of Pinebluff and Carolyn Deese of Denver, Colorado; four brothers, Ronnie Haynes, Jr. of Troy, George Vaden Haynes, II of Pinebluff, Doug and Mike White, both of Texas; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Powell Funeral Home in Southern Pines.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25 at Pinebluff Cemetery.
