John D. McAllister Sr., 91, of 130 South Vass Road, died Thursday, June 27, 2013.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Burial will be in McAllister family cemetery. He is survived by a daughter, Marverra Savage; sons, John Jr., Orlando, Vincent and Jason; sisters, Helen McLaurin and Ruth Murphy; a brother, Russell Jr.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
