Joanna Barber, 42, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at her residence.
Joanna was born September 23, 1971 in Moore County to Jeanette Rumfelt Johnson and the late Arthur Leon Garner. She was a computer lab assistant at Sandhills Community College.
She is predeceased by her father Arthur Garner and brother Greg Garner.
Survivors are: her husband of 13 years, Billy Barber; mother Jeanette Johnson and stepfather Al; son Kollin Barber of Aberdeen; daughters Audrina Garner of Wagram and Kayla Barber Tingle(Billy) of Ellerbe; brothers Randy Garner(Lisa) of Carthage, Wayne Garner (Iris) of Sanford, William Garner (Reba) of Pinebluff, David Garner (Lisa) of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren Trey, Destiny, Chasity, Aubrey, and Annalyssa; sister-in-law Betty Garner of Aberdeen; many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, August 31 at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines. Family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 pm prior to service. Burial will follow service at Ashley Heights Baptist Church Cemetery.
