Mrs. Scarboro was born October 20, 1919 in Caldwell County, NC; to the late Walter Suddreth and Pearl Raby Suddreth. She was also preceded in death by her husband Lacy Scarboro, Sr. and her son, Kenneth Scarboro. She was a member of Parker United Methodist Church.
Survivors are: her son, Carroll Scarboro and his wife Joan, her daughter Betty Skipper, four grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held later.
