Sandra Conover Christensen of Raeford, died September 8, 2015 at the age of 76.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania July 14, 1939, to the late Raymond Conover and Kathry Pikunas Conover. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lauren Hornsby. She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church. She was a great lover of animals.
She is survived by her son Leslie E. Hornsby and wife Laura of Columbus, Georgia; 2 daughters Darla H. Meredith and husband Michael of Parkland, Florida, and Tonya H. Morris of Aberdeen; her sister Linda C. Hoffmeier of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and 4 grandchildren, Gabriel, Lindley, Ethan, and Mitchell.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 6199 Fayetteville Road, Raeford.
A visitation will be held after the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to a local human society or animal.
