Mary McKeithan of Raeford died Saturday, September 14, 2019 in her home at the age of 81.
She was born in Robeson County on May 15, 1938 to Hubert Carson Humphrey and Gracie Worrell Humphrey. She was a member of Pittman Grove Baptist Church and retired with 34 years from Burlington Industries in Raeford.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Cecil W. McKeithan of Raeford; a daughter, Susan M. Gregory and her husband, Billy of Raeford; a son, Greg D. McKeithan and wife Kim of Knightdale; three grandchildren, Cindy Tubbs and husband Bernie, Rachel Blackman and husband Scott and Dr. Daniel McKeithan; three great-grandchildren, Adalyn Blackman, Rhett Blackman and Andrew Tubbs; a brother, Carson (Buddy) Humphrey and wife Linda of Wilmington; and three sisters, Ann Pate of Whiteville, Nancy Fox and husband Prentice of Aberdeen, and Jean Grubbs and husband Glenn of Pinehurst.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Pittman Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Dwight Jackson and the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.
