Raybourn F. Quick of 95 Jonathan Street died Monday, June 03, 2013 in Southeastern Regional Medical Center at the age of 70.
He was born in Cumberland County on September 23, 1942 to the late Odell Robert Quick and Maggie Culbreth Quick. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Scott Quick. He worked as an office manager for Lacy Quick at Boulevard Auto Sales in Fayetteville and later was the owner and operator of Sureway Motors in Fayetteville. He attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Raybourn "Dell" Odell Quick (Darlene) and Jonathan Ray Quick of Maxton; his daughter, Donna Faye Quick of Maxton; his sister, Marlene Sessoms of Parkton; his grandchildren, Megan Darlene Quick, Jessica Priscilla Bullard, Ryan Deanna Quick; and five great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Quick, Skylar Geronimo, Derick Geronimo, Colyn Lee Oxendine, and Heidy Dial.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in the Culbreth Family Cemetery on King Road in Fayetteville with the Rev. Dwight Jackson and the Rev. Al Hinsley officiating.
