Dawn Devier

Dawn Devier died unexpectedly n November 6, 2022 at her home.
She was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on July 20, 1967 to Carolyn Devier Whaley and the late Dane Allen Devier Sr. 
She was a loving person who was always willing to help and care for her neighbors and community. She had a heart of gold. She was an insurance agent at Total Insurance Center of Fayetteville for 27 years. She was loved by all her clients and coworkers. 
She was preceded in death by her brother, Allen Devier, and her grandparents. 
She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Devier Whaley, and stepfather Wendell Whaley; three sisters, Tracey Hess, and her husband Wayne of Suffolk, Virginia, Allison Whaley of Raleigh, and Ashley Pearson and her husband Kennon of Garner; a niece, Samantha Hostler, her husband Darrin, and their four children of Killeen, Texas; and two nephews, Bradley Hess of Fayetteville and Dane Devier III of Fayetteville.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Camp Ground United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. 
A celebration of life with her community will be held at a later date.

Leonard B. Noel Jr.

Leonard B. Noel, Jr. of Raeford died Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at age 71. 

He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Chong Cha, in July 2022.

He is survived by his daughter, Carol Chong Cha Noel of Chapel Hill, and son, Leonard B. Noel III.

Services with full military honors will be held at noon on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Sandhills State Veteran's Cemetery.

Morris Parker

<01>Morris Cecil Parker of Raeford died November 3, 2022.

He was born in Robeson County on July 23, 1977 to Morris Stevens Parker and Virginia Taylor.

One of Morris's passions was being a tow truck driver and mechanic for many years. His favorite thing in life was spending time with his family. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it, especially those he loved.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Angelina Gregory, his mother Virginia Taylor, and his brother Ernest Ronnell Revels. 

He is survived by his daughter, Victoria Faye Parker, and adopted daughter, Justine Chavis, grandsons, River James Parker and Brysen Hatcher, father, Morris Stevens Parker, four brothers, Jonathan Kerry Revels, Aubrey Dean Revels, Robert Stevens Parker, Jeremy Lee Parker, two sons, Jacob Gregory, Justin Parker, daughter, Kaitlyn Hatcher, mother-in-law, Peggy Chavis, and adopted brother and sister, Randy Cox and Sarah Cox.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel.
