Agnes J. Webb

Agnes Jane Webb, 71, passed away Wednesday, February 8 at Rosewood Assisted Living in Harmony. She was born in Raeford to Edward and Hazel Burns Webb. She grew up at Barium Springs Orphanage and graduated from Troutman High School in 1963. 
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carmen Brown Bass of Statesville. She was the oldest of six siblings—Barbara Bowden, Connie Caviness, Susie Cothern, Freddie Webb, and Eddie Webb (deceased). 
She is survived by her daughter, Laury Brown of Statesvilleand her son, David J. Perkins of Pinehurst; and three granddaughters, Christina Bass, Paige Perkins, and Payton Perkins. 
She will be laid to rest with family in Raeford in a small private funeral. 
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Iredell County.

James V. Carroll Jr.

James Victor Carroll Jr. of Raeford passed away February 24, 2017 at his home at the age of 52.

He was born November 5, 1964 in Bexar County, Texas to the late James Victor Carroll and Saundra Middleton Carroll. He attended First Baptist Church in Raeford.

He is survived by his sisters, Rachelle Carroll of Nebraska, Malinda Rogers and her husband Brad of Raeford, and Belinda Hoelscher of Raeford; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Cliffdale Christian Center, 6427 Cliffdale Rd., Fayetteville.

A memorial service will be held after the visitation at 2 p.m. officiated by Pastor Joshua Goodman and the Rev. Thomas Lee.

A committal service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Raeford Cemetery.
