James T. Paul
He was born on December 11, 1949 in Robeson County to the late Archie Thomas Paul and Elma Lamm Paul.
He was preceded in death by his brother, George Lewis Paul, and sister Grace York.
He was a Past Master Mason of St. Alban's Lodge #114 of Lumberton, and a Shriner. He was an avid golfer and collector of many things and a chess aficionado. He loved spending time with his family and friends as well as his fellow Masons and Shriners.
He is survived by his wife Diane Finch Taylor; daughter, Jennifer Finley; two sisters, Una Paul Wade, and Ila Paul Killian; four stepsons, Nathan Taylor (Lindsey), Brian Taylor, Jae Keith, and Barry Keith; and nine grandchildren,Nolan, Ethan, Cassidy, Austin, Gavin, Aiden, Max, Logan, and Henry.
A visitation will be held from 3-4 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022 at Galatia Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.
A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. at the church with Herman Autry officiating.

Helen Fields
Helen H. Fields, 89, died Thursday, October 27th at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
She was born in Bennettsville, South Carolina on November 25, 1932 to the late Katie Parham Hubbard and Henry Harold Hubbard.
She was a retired nursing assistant and an original founding member of St. Josephs Home Health Care in Raeford as well as a retired beautician. She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis E. Fields, son, Henry L. "John" Fields and her brother, David Hubbard.
She is survived by two sons, Charles E. Fields and his wife Hilda of Raeford and Emek Siddeem and his wife Deborah of Raeford; four grandchildren, Kelly Riley and husband Ken of Pine Knoll Shores, Kimberly Bartch and husband Jaime of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Jennifer Sandlin and her husband Dale of Beulahville, and Michael Fields of Raeford; four great-grandchildren, Madilyn, Matthew, T.J., and Taylor; and three great-great grandchildren, Paisleigh, Sadie-James, and Waylon.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 2-3 p.m. at Boles Funeral Home in Red Springs. A graveside will follow at 3:15 P.M. at Alloway Cemetery.
