Daneesha Williams

Daneesha Williams died December 26, 2023 at the age of 30.

She was born November 18, 1993.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford E. Williams III.

She is survived by her mother, Della Mae Williams; siblings: Devon Spruell, Lana Williams, Zolia Williams, Ky'Lani Williams, Terrell Williams, Edric Williams; aunts: Tawana, Shannell, Nicole, Linda, Jo Ellen, Lashundria; uncles: Derrick, Anthony, Nathaniel along with a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service to honor her life and legacy will be held at a later date.

Tracy Holmes

Tracy M. Holmes died December 31, 2023 at the age of 55.

He was born July 29, 1968.

He is survived by his aunt, Rita Shaw who assumed the role of mother; siblings: Teresa Holmes-Miller, Sherri Palmer, Brandy Palmer, Sharon Shaw, Shelia Shaw, Alvin Shaw; aunt, Barbara Graham along with a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service to honor his life and legacy was held at noon Saturday, January 6 at the Buie's Funeral Home chapel.

David Begley

David Begley of Raeford died Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the age of 54.

He was born May 29, 1969 in Seymour, Indiana to Carolyn King and the late Otis Begley Jr.

He enjoyed riding his Rhino around the farm while DJing for his wife and Buster, Jenny, and Kathy. He liked sports and playing ball with Sully. He loved creating and fixing things with his hands. He loved his family very much and was loved by them.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tonia Begley; children, Ray Hommes (Megan), Andrea Hunt (Sterling), Jessica Begley, and Matthew Begley; two granddaughters, Riley Hommes and Aubrey Hunt; his mother, Carolyn King (Bobby); siblings, Jeff Begley (Ann), and Kimmy Starr (Richard).

A visitation was held from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024, in the Crumpler Funeral Home chapel. A service followed at 2 p.m. Burial was in the Raeford Cemetery.
