Clyde McMillian

Clyde McMillian died September 18, 2023 at the age of 81.

He was born January 29, 1942.

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him." Psalms 28:7

A memorial service was held at noon Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Freedom Chapel AME Zion.


Costella McLeod

Costella McLeod died September 21, 2023 at the age of 62.

She was born December 11, 1960.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." John 14:27

She is survived by her siblings, James (Shanelle) McLeod, Dennis (Carol) McLeod and Gloria (Van) McIntosh.

A service celebrating her life was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 at J.W. Turlington School. Interment followed at the Highland Biblical Gardens.

Michael Lewis

Michael "Mike" Anthony Lewis died Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the age of 71.

He was born January 1, 1952.

"A Husband, Father & Papa too, this is the legacy we have from you." It is with great sadness in our hearts, to announce the passing of a strong, hard-working and devoted family man on Saturday, September 30, 2023. He courageously fought and lost the battle to Cholesterol Emboli Syndrome at the age of 71, with family surrounding him.

An uncle, godfather, and a friend to many that will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents George (Robert) and Elizabeth (Betty) Lewis, as well as his mother-in-law Geraldine Corey, who loved him dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife Sandy (Corey) of 51 wonderful years married; two daughters, Gina Jones (Bobby) and Aimee' Lewis (Sean). He loved being a Papa to five grandchildren, Tyler (Alyssa), McKenzie, Joshua, Jada (Cameron), Robby along with three bonus grandchildren, Halie, Luke & Jack; five great-grandchildren, Addilyn, Maddox, Avery, Chason and Rosalia; as well as three brothers, Jim (Carol), Terry and George Jr. (Robert); two sisters, Kathy (Doug) and Judy; and his four-legged furry best friend of 12 years, Bojangles (Bo). He is leaving behind so much more of who he was.

In lieu of flowers, please send a plant or tree in his honor.

A visitation will be held Friday, October 6, 2023 from 2-3 p.m. in the Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel. A service will follow at 3 pm. There will be a celebration of life in Binghamton, New York for friends and family and will be announced at a later date.
