Vernon Lanair "Bun" McDougald died Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, at the age of 70.
He was born February 27, 1953.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 11 a.m.-noon at Rockfish Grove Freewill Baptist Church prior to the funeral. The funeral will follow at noon. Interment will be at Rockfish Grove Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Denise Wallace died March 11, 2023 at the age of 39.
She is survived by her parents, Steven L. Wallace and Phyllis Clark Wallace; siblings, LaShonda White (Corey) and Steven L. Wallace Jr.; aunt, Vanzella Cooper; uncles, Zelma Clark, Archie Wallace, Mack Wallace, and James Johnson; nephew, Jordan Wallace; along with a host of other family and friends.
A celebration of life was held Monday, March 20, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church.
Willie Mae Anderson died March 14, 2023 at the age of 76.
She was born April 23, 1946 to the late Willie McNair and Lanie McNair Singletary.
She is survived by her daughter, Tawanda Lucas; sister, Karla Williams; brother, Charles McNair; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Cape Fear Conference B Headquarters. Visitation is Thursday, March 23 from noon-4 p.m. at the Buie Funeral Home chapel, 543 Vass Road.
