Howard Lewis Jones of Raeford died Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Autumn Care of Raeford at the age of 78.
He was born on March 30, 1938 to the late Roy Lester Jones and Lilly Beaver Jones. He was preceded in death by his children, Robert Jones and Rhonda Coleman. Mr. Jones proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Betty M. Jones of Raeford; his sons, Timothy Jones of Raeford, Jonathan Jones of Jacksonville, FL; his daughter, Tambra James of Raeford; his brothers, Paul Jones (Barbara) of Texas, Donald Jones (Mary) of Charleston, WV; and five grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Community United Methodist Church Cemetery with Robert Macy officiating.
