Avery Derrell White Sr. 55 of Raeford, died Friday, November 15, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
He was born October 17, 1958 in Cumberland County. He is the son of Mary Emma Covington, mother Brenda Taylor and the late Fairley Wilson Taylor, Sr.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Felicia Covington.
He is survived by his wife Andrea Wilson White of Raeford; two sons, Avery White Jr. (Sheree), and Jeffery White; two daughters, Nikki Haywood (Tony) and Markeita Antoinette White; a special grandmother Mary Jane White; and grandmother Elizabeth Buckner; four brothers, Fairley Wilson Taylor, Jr., Charles Covington, Carl Covington, and Clifton Covington; three sisters, Beulinda Taylor, Reanita Covington, and Jackie Covington; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2013 at Crumpler Funeral Home 220 E. 4th Ave. Red Springs
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at St. Mary's Holiness Church, McPhatter Road, Red Springs.

Patricia Robinson, 47, of Raeford, died Sunday, November 10, 2013.
Survivors are: husband, Anthony; son, Je'Von; and eight siblings.
The funeral will be held Sunday, November 17 at 2 p.m. in Berea Baptist Convention Center in Bennettsville, South Carolina. Burial will be in Ideal Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 15 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Lewis Chapel Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

Evelyn "Janice" Norton Cooper, 65 of Laurel Hill died Monday, November 11, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Thurman Norton; and sisters, Helen Blue and Carloyn Diehell.
Survivors are: son, Vernon " Scott" Norton of Laurel Hill; brother, Bobby Norton of Gastonia; sisters, Peggy "Joyce" Early of Raeford and Dorothy Woodard of Laurel Hill; two grandchildren, Ashley Norton and Marissa Norton; and a host of family and friends.
The funeral will be held Thursday, November 14 at 11 a.m. in Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel in Laurinburg with the Rev. Ricky Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Park.

George Albert (Al) McKeithan of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, formerly of Raeford, died suddenly Monday, November 11, 2013 at the age of 50.
He was born in Cumberland County on February 6, 1963 to the late Reverend George McKeithan and Doris Sessoms McKeithan. He attended Hillcrest Baptist Church in Raeford. He was an avid skydiver and photographer.
He is survived by Paul (P.J.) McKeithan (Laura) of Raeford; his daughters, Laura Chaney (Jared) of Montana, and Sheree McKeithan of Raeford; three sisters, Shirley Roman of Raeford, Deborah Tripp Holloway (Cliff) of Claudville, Virginia, and Fay Sadler (Bud) of Swansboro; two nieces, Tasha Roman Oldham (Steve) of Raeford, and Jennifer Burlingham (Don) of Holly Springs; a nephew, David Benjamin Tripp (Precilla) of Kinston; and six grandchildren, Areyona, Aaliyah, Prophett, Gabriel, Kara, and Kyli.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 15 1:30-3 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Raeford.

Marcella Northcutt, 82, of Raeford, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013.
Survivors are: children, Eunice McPhatter, Stanley, Shirley and Evangenlena; sisters, Hattie Cameron and Bessie McPhatter; and seven grandchildren.
