Elizabeth W. Stone
She was born in Hoke County on May 14, 1920 to the late Marion and Annie McFadyen Warren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold E. Stone, Sr. She was a member of the Raeford Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her sons, Dr. Harold E. Stone, Jr. of St. Johns, Florida and Robert W. Stone of Palm Bay, Florida.
A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Raeford Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

William F. (Rick) Dinkins
He was born in Atascosa County, Texas on September 1, 1951. He was employed with LL Vann Electric in Raleigh. He was preceded in death by his brother John Gillis Dinkins.He was raised in a missionary family and grew up in Brazil.
Survivors are his wife, Mary Adams Dinkins of Mebane; two daughters, Wendy Ray of Hillsborough, and Candida Nance of Mebane; his parents, Rev. Frederic and Frances Gillis Dinkins both of Fayetteville; one sister, Ruth Dinkins of Fayetteville; and five grandchildren that he adored.
Visitation will be held 12-2 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Galatia Presbyterian Church.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Galatia Presbyterian Church with the REv. Shuford White officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

James A. Thomas Jr
Survivors are: wife, Mary; children, Mary Long, Jane Smith and Vernice; sisters, Arden Allen and Joyce Wilson; brother, Carroll Thomas; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday, July 11 at 1 p.m. in Cape Fear Conference B Headquarters Church in Raeford. Burial will be in Highland Biblical Gardens.
Visitation, will be held Thursday, July 10 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Buie Funeral Home in Raeford.

Eva B Pait
Eva Bounds Pait, age 93 died July 4, 2014 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. She was a resident of The Villages of Wilkes, North Wilksboro, formerly of Red Springs.
She was born on April 5, 1921 in the Antioch Community of Hoke County to the late Lonnie L. Bounds and Edell Powell Bounds. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Red Springs. She retired from Liberty Manufacturing, in Red Springs as a bookkeeper.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Robert Douglas Pait of Whiteville, two sisters Alma B. Livingston and Isabelle B. McDonald, and three brothers Roscoe Bounds, Floyd Bounds, and L.D. Bounds all of Red Springs.
She is survived by her son, Frank J. Pait, III and wife Pauline Davis Pait of North Wilkesboro; five grandchildren, Frank J.Pait, IV and wife Sheila Foster Pait of Hickory, Jennifer B.Pait of Albemarle, Robert (Robby) D. Pait, Jr of Whiteville, Cindy P. Ward and Roderick Locklear of Lumberton, and Allison P. Ray and husband Chris of Whiteville; five great-grandchildren, Tyler D. Pait ,Baylor J. Pait both of Hickory, Derrick Nobles of Whiteville, And Kira Locklear and Noah Douglas Locklear both of Lumberton; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-12pm Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at theRed Springs First Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at noon Tuesday, July 8, 2014 Red Springs First Baptist Church with Rev. Bradley Boberg officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Services entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home of Red Springs.
