Rachel Stephens Clark of Raeford died Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the age of 82.
She was born in Cumberland County on November 7, 1939, to the late Younger Stephens and Minnie Russell Stephens. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Clark, six sisters, Loretta Wood, Minnie Renegar, Margaret Croteau, Jessie Brisson Mattie Guilette, Lela Jackson, and six brothers, Tracy Stephens Stacy Stephens, Bud Stephens, Belton Stephens, Russell Stephens, and Douglas Stephens.She was a member of Rockfish Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by two daughters Debbie Clark Murray Lanier and her husband Mark of Coats, NC, and Lisa Clark Schwochow and her husband of Jim of Greensboro, three grandchildren, Brandon Murray and his wife Bridgette of Alexandria, VA, Tanner Schwochow of Greensboro, NC. and Cole Schwochow of Greensboro, NC and one great-grandson Levi Abram Murray of Alexandria, VA. a sister, Betty Jean Sechrist of Raeford, NC
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford
Funeral service will be held at 11:0O am on Monday, June 27, 2022, at Rockfish Tabernacle Baptist Church with Reverends Archie Barringer Tommy Underwood officiating.
Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

Chester Wayne Branch of Raeford died Thursday, June 23, 2022 at his home.
He was born in Lumberton on June 19, 1950 to the late Ricks Branch and Nelda Page Branch. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Antioch Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Branch, of Raeford; a son, Michael Wayne Branch (Catherina) of Red Springs; a daughter, Amanda Branch Covington of High Point; four grandchildren, Megan Branch, Holden Branch, Harriss Covington, and Ben Covington; a great-granddaughter, Journee; and a brother, Rick Branch (Terry) of Stanley.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Antioch Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jim Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service at the gravesite.

Tony Minshew
Tony Lee Minshew of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, formerly of Raeford, died Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the age of 59.
He was born in Wilson on June 12, 1963. He cherished his family, friends and co-workers. His career spanned 30 years in nursing with the last 15 in the position of vice president of Patient Services at Conway Medical Center.

He is survived by his partner, Jeff Gross of Myrtle Beach; his mother, Jean L. Minshew of Raeford; a sister, Debbie Bullard (Larry) of Raeford; two nieces, Laura Ziznewski (Justin) of Apex, and Lindsey Bullard (Ariel) of Garne; a nephew, Brian Bullard (Betsy) of Richmond, Virginia;, a great-niece, Olivia Ziznewski; a great-nephew, Lawson Ziznewski; and Baxter, his beloved Whippet dog.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Raeford Cemetery with the Rev. Thomas Lee officiating.
