James (Jamie) T. Crouch of Aberdeen died on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the age 56.
He was born in Moore County on July 23, 1957 to Chesley Crouch, Jr. and the late Ruby Mae Strother Crouch. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Timothy Crouch.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and collecting arrowheads.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Crouch of Raeford; his son, Robert Crouch and his wife, Maggie of Chapel Hill; his daughter, Crystal Dawn Crouch-Stewart and her husband Eric of Texas City, Texas; his father, Chesley Crouch, Jr.; his brother, David Crouch of King; his sisters, Rebecca Summerlin and her husband, Larry of Society Hill, South Carolina, and Rachel C. Wilson and her husband, Bill of St. Pauls; six grandchildren, Angel Crouch, Alexis Crouch, Kaleb Crouch, Sophia Crouch, Melissa Stewart, Christian Stewart; and several nieces and nephews.
Family visitation will be 5-9 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2014 at 815 McFarland Blue Road, Raeford.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014 in the Ashleigh Heights Baptist Church Cemetery with Leland Strother officiating. Family will receive friends after the service at 815 McFarland Blue Rd, Raeford.

Hugh R. Haire
Hugh Roberson Haire, Sr., 93, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, in his residence.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and he attended Louisburg College. He was the owner and operator of Haire Plumbing since 1947. He helped found the Fayetteville Plumbing Association and was a Past Secretary of the NC Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Association. He was a member of Wesley Heights UMC, Phoenix Masonic Lodge #8, the Exchange Club and the Lions Club. He had received the Silver Spoon Award and the Fayetteville Entrepreneurial Award from Methodist University.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Louise Haire and daughter, Saundra Faye Haire.
Survivors are: his sons, Larry Hugh Haire and wife, Marian of Raeford and Hugh R. Haire, Jr. and wife, Kim of Fayetteville; daughters, Diane H. Harrill and husband, Rodney of Sanford and Donna Louise Haire of Clayton, Georgia; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 7 at 2 pm in Jernigan Warren Chapel with Dr. Tryon Lancaster presiding. The burial will follow at Cross Creek Cemetery #3. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wesley Heights United Methodist Church or Boys and Girls Home of North Carolina 400 Flemington Dr, Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450.
