Rev. Francis Leggett

Rev. Francis Leggett died August 10, 2023 at the age of 59.

He was born September 19, 1963.

He is survived by his companion of 26 years, Teresa Kemp; son, Christopher Laronta Leggett (Shameca); father, Franklin Levi Leggett; sisters: Debbie Douglas, Sheree Douglas (Dwight), Nena N. Leggett; brothers: Juan Leggett (Jessica), Don Leggett (Alice), Michael McIntosh; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild along with a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16 at Piney Grove Baptist Church.

Cody Bullard

Cody M. Bullard died August 11, 2023 at the age of 21.

He was born July 19, 2002.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 17 at the Buie's Funeral Home chapel.

Vickie Wilkes

Vickie Marie (Barvais) Wilkes, of Raeford died Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the age of 77.

She was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on August 10, 1946 to the late Leon and Betty Barvais.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Richard Wilkes; and several very close friends she held dear to her heart.
