Betty Biggs

Betty O'Neal Biggs of Raeford died at the home of her daughter, Connie Lindsay on Friday, August 23, 2019 at the age of 91.
She was born on October 9, 1927, to Joseph and Sara Copeland. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas O'Neal and Homer Biggs. She was a longtime member of Galatia Presbyterian Church and the Women's Sunday school class. She was a pink lady volunteer at Cape Fear Valley hospital for 32 years and avid bowler all her adult life. She was also a Shrinette.
She is survived by two daughters, Connie Lindsay and husband Donald of Raeford and Terri McCraney of Raeford; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 3-4 pm Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Galatia Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 8800 Galatia Church Road Fayetteville, NC.
The funeral will follow at 4 pm with CRE Herman Autry officiating.
Interment will be 1:00 pm. Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.

Anthony H. Stone

Anthony H. Stone (Tony) of West End, died at his home, Tuesday, August 13, 2019.

A native of Moore County, he was born to George O. Stone Sr. and Virginia Mae Stone on November 14, 1954. He came from a large family. He resided during his school years in Hoke County, attending Hoke High School.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at West End United Methodist Church with Pastor Jane Leechford officiating. Family and friends will meet in the fellowship hall on  at 1:30 p.m. prior to the funeral.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to West End United Methodist Church at 4015 NC Highway 73, West End, NC C/O Anthony Stone.
