Belton Jones, 71, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in his home surrounded by his family.
He was born April 29, 1942 in Hoke County to the late Roscoe and Luella Jackson Jones. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Leevert Jones.
He was the owner and operator of Belton's Septic Tank Service for more than 40 years. He was on the board of Lumbee Guarantee Bank for several years and held several positions at Cape Fear Baptist Church where he was a member for more than 30 years. He was a very kind, loving and generous man to those who were in need.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maxine Jones of the home; sons, Wayne Jones and wife Sandy of Rockfish, Frankie Jones and fiancé Michelle of Fayetteville, Terry Jones of Hope Mills, and Tyson Locklear and wife Carolyn of Fayetteville; a daughter, Rita Davis of Fayetteville; brothers, Tony Ray Jones and wife Faye of Raeford, Winford Paul Jones and wife Betty of Wagram, Samuel Jones Barton and wife Ruth of Lumberton, Leland Sanderson and wife Annie of Lumberton, and Roscoe Jones Jr. and wife Wanda of Huntsville, Alabama; sisters, Josephine Tyler of Raeford, Sylvia Blanks and husband Tommie (TJ) of St. Pauls, and Georgia C. Seals and husband Wilson of Pembroke; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Visittion will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Cape Fear Baptist Church Family Life Center, 100 Indian Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28312.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at Cape Fear Baptist Church with Pastors Bruce Swett, the Rev. Jerry Groves and the Rev. Justin Mullins officiating.
Burial will follow the service in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery, 2881 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, NC 28306.

Morton "Marty" Gardner
Morton (Marty) Gardner, 83, of 1614 Paisley Ave. Fayetteville, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born May 16, 1930 in Bronx, New York to the late Harold and Rose Ginsburg .
He was preceded in death by his wife Grace Gardner.
His favorite restaurants were Golden Corral, Pizza Palace, and K&W Cafeteria.
He is survived by three daughters, twins Deborah Gardner Boynton (Mike) of Fayetteville and Terri Gardner Isaacs (Harold) of Sparta, Tennessee, and Barbara L. Cayce (Charles) of Panama City Florida; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a special granddaughter Janine Gardner Sims of Raeford.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 16 at the Raeford Cemetery with the Rev. James Wilhide officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the gravesite.

Betty Jean Smith Livingston, 79, of 7265 St. Paul's Road Lumber Bridge, died Tuesday ,February 11, 2014 at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Cumberland County August 20,1934 to the late Marion Smith and Mae Baxley Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Archie Howard Livingston. She was retired from the Hoke County school system.
She is survived by three sons, Wayne Livingston of Lumber Bridge, Charles Livingston (Kim) of Laurinburg, and David Livingston of Lumber Bridge; a daughter Tammy L. Daniels ( Brian) of Raeford; a sister Naomi Beatty ( Aaron) of Oregon; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday February 17 7-9 p.m. at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford.

Michelle Lucas
Michelle Lucas of 215 North Anderson Drive Lumber Bridge died February 8, 2014 at the age of 39.
She was born July 22, 1974 in Cumberland County.
She is survived by her husband Donnie Lucas; a son Donald Lucas; three daughters, Kimberly Lucas, Crystal Barfield, and Amanda Henderson all of Lumber Bridge; a brother Micheal Cain of Rocky Mt.; a sister Angie Cain of Fayetteville; and her mother-in-law Ann Lucas of Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends at the home of Ann Lucas 2508 Penny Dr. Fayetteville.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014 at New Hope Church of God 3109 Camden Rd. Fayetteville, with Pastor Andy Johnson officiating.
