Azzie Edwards Wentz of Raeford, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines.
She was born in Madison County, Georgia on January 22, 1929, to the late Homer Franklin Edwards and Azzie Sorrow Edwards. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Reverend James H. Wentz. She was a member of the Raeford Church of God of Prophecy.
She is survived by a brother, H.B. Edwards and his wife Edith of Knightdale; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Edwards of Hampstead; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Raeford.
The funeral will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday at the Church of God of Prophecy in Raeford with the Reverend Randall Snead officiating.
Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery.
