Carl V. Cook

Dateline: Lexington, SC

Carl Vernon "Bud" Cook, of Lexington, South Carolina, formerly of Fayetteville, died Friday, March 23, 2012 in Lexington Medical Center Extended Care at the age of 84.
He was born May 19, 1927 in Cumberland County to the late William Blackman Cook and Bonnie Carbell Lunsford Cook.
Survivors include five sisters, Phillis Davis of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Margie Sandy of Raeford, Carol Lloyd and her husband John of Swansea, South Carolina, Peggy Currie of Stedman, and Bonnie Jones and her husband Vester of Fackler, Alabama.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2012 at Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joel Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery.

Zephree Dobbins Jr.

Zephree Dobbins Jr., 65, of Raeford, died Thursday, March 15, 2012.
Survivors are: wife, Halliree; son, Melvin McLean; daughter, Vilvet; sisters, Nadine Ellerbe and Mary; brother, Willie; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Mar. 22 at 2 p.m in Buffalo Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in church cemetery.

Vickie Richards

Vickie Richards, 64 of Fayetteville, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 in Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center of Fayetteville.
Survivors are: husband, Charles of Rockfish; daughters, Debra Bolton and Katherin Coax of Rockfish; step-son, Adam Richards of Rockfish; step-daughter, Jennifer Richards of Pennsylvania;  10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
