Kathleen F. Bartch

Kathleen Fields Bartch of Red Springs, died Friday, November 7, 2014 at Autumn Care of Raeford, at the age of 87.

She was born in Robeson County on April 19, 1927 to the late James Autry Fields and Katie Ange Fields. She was a preceded in death by her husband, Glen Lawrence Bartch, Jr., a son, Glen Lawrence Bartch, III and her sister Bobbie F. Meinert. She was member of the Hope Mills Pentecostal Holiness Church since 1980.

She is survived by two sons, Robert James Bartch and his wife Wanda of Red Springs, and Michael Scott Bartch and his wife Maggie of Raeford; a  brother, Ronald Fields and his wife Elaine of Lumber Bridge; a sister Juanita F. Livingston of Raeford; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Alloway Cemetery, North Vance Street , Red Springs, officiated by the Rev. Elton Bryan, directed by Crumpler Funeral Home in Red Springs. Family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.

William Y. Stephens

William Younger Stephens of 4124 Pecan Drive, Hope Mills, formerly of Rockfish, died Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the age of 60.
He was born January 13, 1954 in Cumberland County to the late Belton and Lucy McFayden Stephens.
He is survived by his daughter Tammi Lucas of Fayetteville, his son Christopher Watkins (Heather) of Fayetteville, two brothers Vernon and Marvin Stephens both of Fayetteville, his sister Wanda Sue Williams (Roger) of Raeford, and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ellen F. Butler

Ellen Felina Butler died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the age of 62.
She is survived by her husband Donald R. Butler; two sons, Donald R. Butler, II, and Samuel Ream; two daughters, Hope McIntyre, and Angie Roth; a sister, Cynthia Lockridge; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Timothy "Tim" White

Timothy "Tim" White, age 56, of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville.
He was born October 31, 1958 in Scotland County, son of Mary Jacobs White Ross and the late John Everette White, Sr. and he was lovingly raised by his stepfather, James Ross. He worked in construction until his health declined. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, NASCAR Racing and watching John Wayne western movies. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his two grandsons.
Surviving are his son Jay White of Fayetteville; his daughters, Brandy White of Laurinburg and Taylor White of Fayetteville; his parents, Mary and James "Jim" Ross of Gibson, a brother, John White of Knoxville, Tennessee; his sisters, Faye Alpiger of Fayetteville, Betty Fraser of Raeford, and Dale Tillis of Lake Butler, Florida; his grandsons, Josh and Dominic; and many special nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Pastor David Shoemake. Burial will follow the service in Pinecrest Cemetery.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be given in Tim's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
