Semaj Miracle McLinnaham, Infant, passed away Sunday January 12, 2014 in Cape Fear Valley Hospital.
Semaj is survived by her parents, James McLinnaham Jr. and Vonshai Culpepper McLinnaham of Raeford; maternal grandparents, Michael Culpepper and Joann Culpepper of Raeford; paternal grandparents, James McLinnaham Sr. and Odessa McLinnaham of Red Springs; and god-parents, Diana and Timothy McNeil of Fayetteville, Marcus Smith Hendricks of Charlotte, and Sharica Chapman of Greensboro.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Geneva Faye Byrd Lewis, 76 ,of Raeford died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital.
She was born in Sampson County on September 22, 1937 to the late Percy Evans Byrd and Nannie Hughes Byrd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norwood Neil Lewis and her son Doug E. Lewis, eight brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her son Frankie N. Lewis of Raeford; two daughters, Brenda Faye Lewis of the home, and Tammy K. Krumwiede (Scott) of Myrtle Beach; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2014 at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford. Family will also receive friends at the home 108 Chilton Dr. Raeford.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, January, 18, 2014 at Crumpler Funeral Home with the Rev. James Wilhide officiating. Entombment will be at Byrd Family Cemetery, Faison.

A beach memorial is planned for a later date and her remains will be scattered in the Atlantic Ocean, per her wishes.
