Rudolph "Rudy" Hendrix
Rudolph "Rudy" Hendrix of Raeford died Thursday, March 6, 2014 in his home at the age of 62.
He was born in Scotland County on June 4, 1951. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Sebald Hendrix and his brother, Randy Williamson. A graduate of Hoke High School, Rudy served in the U.S. Air Force and later graduated from the Northern Virginia Police Academy. He began working with the Prince William County Police Department and retired as a criminal investigator. Upon his retirement he moved back home to Raeford in 2005 and joined the Patriot Guard Riders and the Blue Knights where he served as Road Captain.
He is survived by his son, Jonathan E. Dunn of Manassas, Virginia; his father Robert "Bob" C. Hendrix of Raeford; his mother, Mildred C. Williamson of Fayetteville; his sisters, Lena M. Scott and her husband (Frank) of Fayetteville, Linda Long of Lakewood, Colorado, and Diane Autry (Jimmy) of Fayetteville; his brothers, Donald and Ronald Williamson of Fayetteville, Paul Williamson (Denise) of St. Pauls, and Fred Williamson (Sharon) of Hope Mills; and many beloved uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Ave, Raeford, and other times at the home of Bob Hendrix, 206 W. 5th Ave, Raeford.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Woodrow Jones, brothers Laverne McInnis and Eugene McInnis, her sister Elaine Bishop, and her daughter-in-law Becky Jones.
She was the owner and operator of Jones' Florist in Dundarrach before she retired in the mid '80s.
She is survived by her daughter Jenny Bishop (Weldon) of Dundarrach; sons Thomas J. Jones of Raeford and Martin E. Jones of Dundarrach; brothers Clyde McInnis of Palmetto, Florida, Glenn McInnis (Janice) of Raeford; a sister Vivian Fogartie of Columbia, South Carolina; four grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
