Survivors are: children, Creigton, Annie Bell, Jane Knight, Betty Peterkin, Julia Knight, Elsie Craig, Kaye Moore, Keisha Jacobs, Tracey Knight; brothers, Charles, James; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Thurs. Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. in Bridges Grove AME Zion Church in Shannon. Burial will be in church cemetery.
Viewing, 1 to 7 p.m. today at Buie Funeral Home in Raeford.
