Aaron Lee Hollingsworth of Raeford died Saturday, January 30, 2016 in the FirstHealth Hospice House at the age of 63.
Aaron was born on July 14, 1952 in Sampson County. He was preceded in death by his father, Marion "Red" Hollingsworth and his sister, Patricia Lynn Maynard. He was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church where he taught and was superintendent of the Sunday school. He also taught the discipleship class and was a deacon, chairman, and a trustee. Aaron was also owner and operator of Hollingsworth Auto Sales.
Survivors are: his wife, Linda R. Hollingsworth of Raeford; his sons, Andrew "Drew" Hollingsworth of Raeford; Adrian Rollins of Vass; his daughter, Tonya Hinson of Raeford; his mother, Laura D. Hollingsworth of Raeford; his sisters, Wanda Brock of Raeford, Judy VanAllen (Billy) of Raeford; two grandchildren, Tristan Rollins and Alaina "Bean" Stewart; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Memorial service will begin at 5 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Reverend Toby Neal officiating.
