Mary Frances Blake of Raeford died, Monday, March 7, 2016 at the age of 70.
She was born September 28, 1945 to Robert Oliver and Nellie Mae Woodcox. She was known by most as Frances and was well known in Hoke County for her ability to work on cars. She worked alongside her husband at the Auto Clinic in Hillcrest until 1995. During her time at the Auto Clinic, she was also a substitute teacher and volunteer for Hoke County Schools. Through the years, there were many hard times, but through it all, Frances always stood by her family. It was always her hope that everyone would get along and enjoy each other's company. To all of her family, those that are still here, as well as all that have gone before her, she loved each one of you. No matter the past issues, no matter the reason for having not communicated, she loved you.
Surviving are her son Kenny and (Charity) Blake (son and daughter-in-law); grandchildren Brandon and Allyssa Blake; and siblings Bobby (Gail) Woodcox, Peggy (Bill) Haseldon, Larry (Pat) Woodcox, Helen (Willie) Lentz, David (Jean) Woodcox, and Gail (Bob) Dudash.
Though she loved all her nieces and nephews, Cindy Baxley held a special place in her heart.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Crumpler Funeral Home-Raeford.
