Bruce Locklear of Red Springs died Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the age of 60.
He was born October 31, 1955 in Scotland County to the late Curtis Roger Locklear and Mildred Locklear.
He is preceded in death by his two brothers Stevenson Locklear and Charles Locklear. He retired from Kelly Springfield.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Locklear; a son Landon Locklear (Tammy); a daughter, Shawana L. Goins (Nakema); three grandchildren, Jada Locklear, Tyler Locklear, Adalyn Goins all of Red Springs; and three brothers, Steward Locklear (Lori Ann) of Maxton, Jimmy Locklear(Ann) of Maxton, and James Michael Locklear ( Arlene) of Maxton.
The funeral was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Hoke County Holiness Church, with the Rev. Gene Truman Chavis officiating.
Interment was in the Hoke County Holiness Church Cemetery in Red Springs.
