Henry E. Mack Jr. departed this life on Monday October 31, 2016 quietly at home.
He was born on March 9, 1932 in Trenton New Jersey to theMack Whiteside, sister-in-law Wilhemina Brown Medley and granddaughter Tanisha Funchers.
He was educated in Trenton Public Schools, and attendedArtillery of the 82nd Airborne Division (1951-1954). He also served in Marine and Air Force reserves for 8 years.
He was employed at Globe Industry in Dayton, Ohio, Trentonprojects prior to retirement.
He was a member of Mack's Chapel A.M.E. in Red Springs where he was a trustee and sang in the men's choir.
He was a member of American Legion and Disabled American Veterans and enjoyed traveling, particularly cruising.
He is survived by his wife Georgianna Mack of the home; daughters Jeanne Taylor of New York, New York, Adrienne (Lang) Funchers, and Michelle
A public viewing will be on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from noon to 6 p.m. at Crumpler Funeral Home, Red Springs. The visitation will be 6-8 p.m.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2016 atVeteran's Cemetery with Military Honors.
