Mary Frances McLaughlin Breeden, 84, died March 26, 2017.
She was born May 19, 1932 to the late Mary Frances McLean McLaughlin and John Archie McLaughlin in Hoke County.
She attended the Upchurch High School. She was a dedicated and faithful member of the Spring Branch Missionary Baptist Church until her health failed. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary and James A. McLaughlin, her husband John R. Breeden and her daughter Gracie P. Breeden.
She is survived by her son Robert L. Malloy (Idell) of Raeford; one daughter Hazel E. Hunte (Sydney) of Fort Knox, Kentuck;y 10 grandchildren, Promises (Huff) William , Sydney Hunte Jr., Jamel Hunte (Alise), Kashawn Hunte, Robert L. Malloy, Joel Gilchrist and Rashad Malloy, Amod Malloy, and Sabriyyah Fuller; eight great-grand children, Domoniquica, Anthony, Miracle, Chyna, Joequan, Josiah, Jaccori and Nehemiah; five sisters, Hattie Nicholson, Sallie Ray, Florella Dixon, Martha Williams, and Louise Frierson (Roager); and two brothers, John Archie McLaughlin (Dorthy Lee) and James McLaughlin (Bobbie).
Visitation is Thursday, March 30 from 2-7 p.m. at Butlers Funeral Home in Red Springs. The funeral will be Friday, March 31 at 1 p.m. at Spring Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Wagram.
