Fred D. Blevins of Raeford, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the age of 73.
He was born on Jan. 6, 1945 in Atwell, West Virginia to the late Sampy Blevins and Geraldine Nelson Blevins. He served in the U.S. Army. He attended Shiloh Presbyterian Church. He retired as a plant manager.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes Blevins of Raeford; a son David Blevins (Emily) of Florida; three step-daughters, Shannon R. Trejo of Texas, Angella D. Jackson of, North Carolina and Heather L. Jackson of Texas.; a stepson, Keith Walters and his wife Allison of Raeford; three grandchildren, Eva Blevins, Kohl Blevins, and Kipper Blevins; a sister, Gladys B. Sebastian of Georgia.; and three brothers, Carl Blevins (Faye) of Virginia, and Clarence Blevins (Kathy) and Jeff Blevins (Patricia), all of West Virginia.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018, from 10-11 a.m. at Shiloh Presbyterian Church. The funeral will follow at 11 a,n, at the church with the Rev. Dr. Rufus McLean officiating.
Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
