Rhonda Elaine Spencer Velevis of Raeford passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst at the age of 67.
She was born on October 21, 1950 to Sam Spencer and Eva Cheek Spencer. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Johnny Spencer and Jimmy Spencer. She was a member of Pittman Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Stuart Velevis of Raeford; four sons, Terry Long (Janel), Tommy Strickland (Renee), Ronnie Strickland and Harold Teal (Tonya); nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Long (Wilburt Barefoot) and Kathy Johnson (Terry); and two brothers, Bobby Spencer (Betty) and Ricky Spencer.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford.
The funeral will be held Friday June 29, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Pittman Grove Baptist Grove Church with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating.
Burial will be in the Pittman Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
