Thelma McLaughlin died August 20, 2024, and went home to rest with her Heavenly Father, at the age of 83.
She was born April 9, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Sim (Tip) McLaughlin Sr., and Stella Graham McLaughlin.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelley McCoy-Emory (Tracy); sister, Margaret Ozella McLaughlin White; brothers: Sim McLaughlin Jr., William Henry McLaughlin, Johnnie McLaughlin; grandson, McCoy Orlando Emory along with a host of other family and friends.
A graveside service to honor her life and legacy was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 25 at JG & DJ McLaughlin Family Cemetery.
