Julius Herman "J.H." Jackson of 130 Shackett Road died, Saturday, May 14, 2016 in his home at the age of 80.
He was born in Sampson County on June 6, 1935 to the late Herman Eugene Jackson and Avis Pearl Atkinson Jackson. He was preceded in death by his son Bobby Jackson. He retired from ABC Plumbing in Fayetteville.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, JoAnn Parrish Jackson of Raeford; two sons, Eddie Jackson of Raeford, and Stephen "Timmy" Jackson and his wife Charlene Jacobs of Raeford; four grandchildren, Matthew Jackson, Caroline Jackson, Victoria Jackson, and Tiffany Jackson; two step-grandchildren, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ann Jacobs, and Heather Denise Jacobs; and one great-granddaughter, Charlotte Rena Millermon.
Visitation will be held at the home, 130 Shackett Road in Raeford on Wednesday May 18 from 2-6 p.m.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
