Tommy Raz Langdon, 49, of Raeford passed away May 10, 2016. He had a love of flying, from a very young age. He acquired his private pilots license and flew solo at the age of 16. He served in the United States Army. He lived in Alaska and worked at Denali National Park. He was a driver's education instructor.
His interests included art, music, SCUBA diving, and astronomy, and he had a love of animals. He will be remembered most for his sense of humor and his ability to love others in the midst of his own personal storms. He had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his parents, Glenn and Elga Langdon; brothers Rob Langdon and Mac and wife Daphne; sisters Kristin Phillips and Karin Langdon; nephews Ryan, Jakob, Jeb, Brayden, Dylan Joe, and Luke; nieces Robyn, Landry Rose, and Leila; aunt Nancy Langdon; and uncle Danny Loftin and wife Megan.
The family will be having a private memorial service, and would like to thank the loyal extended family and friends who were there for him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Celebrate Recovery, PO Box 1553 Raeford, NC 28376.
