Pomielee Watson of Raeford passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the age of 94.
She was born in Scotland County on May 6, 1923 to the late Willard Watson and Lilly Sessoms Watson. She was a member of Raeford Praise and Worship Center. She retired from Abbott Laboratories. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Albert Burrow; brothers, Frank D. Watson, James Watson, and Willard Watson Jr.; sisters, Anna W. Cribb and Mildred W. Malloy; and grandchildren, Cindy Burrow Billinger and Alton Ray Burro II.
She was a loving mother that cared for her family, her church, and her community.
She is survived by her son, Donald L. Burrow and his wife Ruby of Raeford; her daughter, Judy B. Parker and her husband, Frank of Raeford; her son, Alton R. Burrow and his wife, Barbara of Pinehurst; her sister, Ola Mae Harvey of Hamlet; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Raeford Praise and Worship Center, 2669 Fayetteville Rd, Raeford.
The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Randall Snead officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Laurinburg.
