Mr. Rando J. Tyler of Raeford died Friday October 15, 2021, at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital at age 33.He was born in Lumberton on January 8, 1988. He served in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer in the 171st division. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. His passion was fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle.He is survived by his wife Joy Tyler of Raeford; three sons, Rando Tyler, Roy Tyler, and Rick Tyler, all of the home; his mother Joan Tyner and his stepfather Barry Tyner of Raeford; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Frances Tyner of Raeford; bonus mom, mama Jan Woodell of Pembroke; his father Rico Tyler of Lumberton; a brother, Carlos Tyler and his wife Angela Tyler of Fairmont; a sister, Santanna Tyler-Byrd and her husband Michael Byrd of Lumberton; his best friend, Richard Blue of Raeford; 13 nieces and nephews and a special niece he inspired to follow in his footsteps, Shayna Tyler of Jacksonville.Visitation will be held 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Crumpler Funeral Home, Raeford.
