James Arthur Cline of Hoke County died Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at First Health Hospice House at age 78.
He was born June 26, 1941 in Isaban, West Virginia, the son of the late Mack and Edna M. Young Cline. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Nadine Cline. He served in the US Army, 1st Cavalry division in Vietnam from 1965 until 1967.
Survivors are a son, Shawn James Cline and his wife Trista of Hoke County; a daughter, Shannandoah Cline-Mayes and her husband Kelly of Visalia, California; and four grandchildren, Bridget Mayes, Logan Mayes, J'DaLynn Cline and Destiny Cline.
A memorial service will be held later.
