Geralean "Jerri" Blackmon McLamb, 92, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Windsor Point in Fuquay Varina. She was born in Johnston County, daughter of the late William McKinley and Lenora Price Blackmon.
She was a registered nurse working with the Hoke County Public Health Department, and United Cerebral Palsy Association, and retired from the North Carolina Industrial Commission as a rehab nurse. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Four Oaks.
Survivors include her sons, the Rev. Sam McLamb and wife, Teena of Mills River; Gary McLamb and wife, Inge of Burlington; four grandchildren, Suzanne M. Plunket and husband, Chris, Bryan P. McLamb and wife, Lauren, Amanda McLamb, and Stephen McLamb; three great-grandchildren, Brayden, Abrie, and Lena; and sister, Alma Jean Bass of Greenville.
A private graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Dunn. The Rev. Sam McLamb will officiate.
